My reverse proxy has been aging a bit and needed to be updated to newer OS releases. Surprisingly it went pretty well to jump right over 2 major versions. Usually my method is to upgrade to each major release but the tool I was using said it could be done with incremental upgrades. After ensuring that I had a backup of the system beforehand, I made another backup of the system after the upgrade just in case.
